I used to make low-carb bread quite often but these days I am back to my “lazylowcarber” roots. I.e. Lazy! Least amount of preparation!
Instead of bread, I eat 1 cracker of Wasa Fiber Crispbread, and spread lots of butter with Almond Butter OR Cream Cheese.
Wasa Fiber Crispbread is less than 4 grams of net carbs (per cracker) and 1 tablespoon of Almond Butter or Cream Cheese is approximately 1-2 g of carbs.
Recently, I am enjoying the Maranatha Coconut Almond Butter. It’s about 2g of carbs per 1 tablespoon. It has a bit of cane sugar in it so it’s a little sweet (I think they add that to make it NO STIR), which I’m enjoying it as a treat. The problem is that I eat too much of it…
I usually put a lot of butter with the chosen spreads. This seem to make my breakfast more filling. I guess the butter makes the digestion process slower.
