Ernest Hemingway Portrait & Quote

Someone once said (I think it was Warren Buffett or Charlie Munger) that there are more books that study about worms than about envy, even though envy is one of the 7 deadly sins. Envy happens when one’s desire to be superior to the people around you is not fulfilled. When I fall into the trap and think about other people’s success and feel sad comparing them to myself, I remind myself with this quote by Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest writer of all time.
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow men. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self” – Ernest Hemingway
